Alexander Buchholz is a hotelier and restaurateur, currently serving as Co-Founder of Bar Rêve, a luxury cocktail bar in New York City. Recently featured in Vogue, Nylon, and The New York Times, Bar Rêve stands out for its partnerships with leading fashion and lifestyle brands. In his role, Buchholz oversees Bar Rêve’s brand, partnership, and growth strategy. He has expanded the bar’s footprint to other markets with “cocktail residencies” at some of the country’s most exciting hotels—with many more in the pipeline.
Prior to founding Bar Rêve, Buchholz served on the global hospitality leadership team at Ralph Lauren, where he supported the growth and strategy of Ralph’s Coffee, the brand’s popular coffee company. A hotelier at heart, he started his career with leadership roles at Four Seasons Hotel Dubai, Four Seasons Hotel Beverly Hills, and
Monteverdi Tuscany.
Buchholz earned his BA at New York University and his MBA at the University of Southern California, both with Honors. He is based in New York City.
